Delete Your Account

Public instructions for deleting your MakeaMatch account.

This public page explains how MakeaMatch users can request or complete account deletion from the mobile app or website.

You can delete your MakeaMatch account at any time from either the mobile app or the website. Deleting your account will permanently remove your account and associated personal data that is eligible for deletion, subject to any limited retention required for legal, security, fraud prevention, operational, or recordkeeping purposes.

1. Open the MakeaMatch app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Select the Account tab.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Enter your password when prompted and confirm the deletion request.

1. Sign in to your account on makeamatch.org.
2. Open Account Settings or Manage Account.
3. Go to the Personal Data section.
4. Select Delete Personal Data.
5. Confirm the deletion request to permanently remove your account.

• Your account access will be removed.
• Your profile and account-linked data will be deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
• Some limited records may be retained when necessary for legal compliance, abuse prevention, security, audit, or system integrity purposes.
• This action is intended to be permanent and cannot normally be undone.
