Our goal

MakeaMatch is designed to help people connect for activities in a respectful, safe, and enjoyable way. These guidelines explain the standards we expect all users to follow.

Be respectful
  • Treat other users with courtesy and respect.
  • Communicate honestly and avoid misleading or deceptive behavior.
  • Respect personal boundaries and privacy.
No harassment or abuse
  • No threats, bullying, harassment, hate speech, or intimidation.
  • No unwanted sexual content, sexually explicit harassment, or persistent unwanted contact.
  • No stalking, doxxing, or attempts to expose another person's private information.
No impersonation or fraud
  • Do not pretend to be another person, business, or organization.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity, intentions, skill level, or availability in a harmful way.
  • Do not use the platform for scams, fraud, spam, or deceptive promotions.
Keep content appropriate
  • Do not post illegal, harmful, violent, or obscene content.
  • Do not share content that infringes another person’s rights.
  • Do not use chats, profiles, comments, groups, or other features to distribute spam.
Use the platform safely
  • Use caution when meeting people in person.
  • Meet in appropriate public places when possible.
  • Use blocking and reporting tools when needed.
  • If you feel unsafe, stop the interaction and seek help from appropriate local authorities if necessary.
Respect the service
  • Do not try to bypass security, gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not scrape, automate, or misuse the platform in a way that harms MakeaMatch or its users.
  • Do not create accounts for abusive or banned behavior.
Child safety and CSAE policy

MakeaMatch has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual exploitation of minors, or any content or behavior that harms or attempts to exploit children.

Users can report child safety concerns in the app or through our Support page. We review reports and take appropriate action, including removing content, restricting accounts, preserving relevant information when appropriate, and reporting to regional or national authorities where required by law.

Reporting and enforcement

We may review reports, investigate behavior, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate these guidelines, our Terms of Use, or applicable law.
