MakeaMatch
How it Works
Meet people around shared interests, pick the right place, and turn interest into an actual plan.
1) Pick your interests + style
Choose the interests you want MakeaMatch to focus on. That can be sports, games, social activities, dining, faith communities, coworking meetups, or anything else your tenant supports. Set your style or vibe, and use skill ranges when an activity supports them.
2) Set home or current location
Add your home coordinates and radius so matching stays realistic. If you travel, switch to your current location without overwriting your home base.
3) Pick the right place
Choose a saved place, create one, or use typed location text. Places now support reusable place categories, details such as reservations and fees, and category-aware quick tags that fit the kind of place you chose.
4) Post a request or send Quick Play invites
Create a request with interest, vibe, optional skill range, timing, place, players needed, and notes. If you already know who you want to invite, use Quick Play to reach one or more people directly.
5) Discover people or work inside groups
Use Player Search / Discovery to find people who share your interests. Or use private, interest-specific groups to organize inside a smaller community. Groups support members, invites, roles, chat, and group quick play.
6) Respond in Inbox
Inbox brings together active requests, responses, history, and calendar views. It is the main place to accept, decline, follow progress, and stay organized.
7) Use live place status + ratings
On place detail pages, users can report quick status tags that auto-expire after several hours and can also rate places. This helps future plans use places that are actually working well right now.
8) Stay connected with chat + notifications
Direct chat, group chat, intent chat, unread counts, notification badges, and quiet-hours settings help people stay informed without unnecessary noise.
